2001 - 2012
The editions of the pump between these years have been lost due to changes in hardware and disc failure. There was also a long time when Sandie Powner was editor and unfortunately only one edition of her work was kept by me. What remains of this period has been grouped together here. Copies do exist in the British Library but I haven't worked out how to get them.
The Year 2012
A busy year in Dingley. We had a party for the Jubilee, an official event for the Olympic Torch which came through the village, a village party after the event, with BBC cameras etc, and a Open Gardens event to help pay for all that.
The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II celebrating the 60th anniversary of her ascension to the throne in 1952 takes place, with celebrations throughout the year in the United Kingdom and around the world. The Mars Science Laboratory or "Curiosity Rover" successfully lands on Mars. The Summer Olympics are held in London, England from July 27th to August 12. The top three medal winning countries during the games were the United States, China and Great Britain.
